Control over your money and your information is control over your life.

Four companies. One conviction: nobody should be at the mercy of what they don't understand.

One conviction, four rooms

Money and information are the two things people get controlled by.

A business owner who doesn't understand her own books is at the mercy of whoever does. A company that can't protect its data is at the mercy of whoever breaches it. And in an abusive relationship, financial control and digital surveillance aren't side effects — they are the primary instruments of coercive control.

The WiseChoice Business Collective exists because those are the same problem. Our firms give business owners command of their numbers and their systems. Our nonprofit gives survivors those same two things back.

And one of us doesn't deal in threat at all. Three of these companies exist because of what gets taken from people. The fourth exists to remember what we're protecting.

That's what Human-First means here. Not a tagline. An argument.

Financial control and digital surveillance are the two instruments of coercive control. We spend our days taking both back.

Where it all points

B.E.A.M. Against Domestic Violence is the reason the rest of this exists. Our ten-year vision is a Whatcom County facility offering safe housing alongside cybersecurity workforce training — so survivors leave with an independence that can't be taken away again.
